Vintage Sheridan Silver Co. Silver on Copper Serving Tray 15” x 11” Ornate Handl

Beautiful vintage silver-on-copper serving tray by Sheridan Silver Co. of Taunton, Massachusetts, dating to the mid-20th century.
This 15” x 11” tray features an elegant rectangular form with ornate scrolling handles and an elaborate raised decorative border. The interior has three recessed sections, giving it a particularly interesting design and making it ideal for serving appetizers, desserts, small bites or cocktails.
The underside is marked with the Sheridan Silver Co. crown, stylized “S” and shield, along with “SILVER ON COPPER.” Sheridan Silver Co. was a Massachusetts maker of silver-plated hollowware, with this mark dating approximately from 1946 through the 1970s.
The tray has been polished and has a beautiful reflective finish. There is visible age-related wear and some areas of silver loss/discoloration, particularly within the recessed sections, consistent with age and previous use. Please see photos for condition details.
A beautiful piece for entertaining, a bar cart or drinks table, or simply displayed as a decorative vintage silver piece.
