A charming botanical pair from I. Godinger’s 1855 Émail de Limoges collection, featuring Sage and Rosemary.
Each 7½” plate is hand decorated with a beautifully illustrated herb plant surrounded by a cheerful yellow botanical border.
The reverse is marked “1855 Émail de Limoges — décoré à la main à S. Marino — I. Godinger.”
These would be lovely used as salad or dessert plates, but I especially love them as decorative kitchen wall plates. Display them together, add them to a collection of botanical plates, or mix them with cutting boards, baskets and other kitchen finds for an eclectic collected look.
