Vintage Old Paris Style Porcelain Spill Vase Ruffled Blue Gold Hand Painted 7”

This elegant porcelain spill vase features a softly ruffled rim, delicate hand-painted gold accents, and a lovely pale blue ground. The graceful shape and gilded detailing reflect the romantic style often associated with Old Paris porcelain spill vases, popular in the 19th century.
Spill vases were traditionally displayed on mantels and used to hold rolled paper tapers (“spills”) for lighting candles or fireplaces before matches became common.
