Vintage Mid-Century Italian Majolica Hand-Painted Floral Basket Cachepot / Plant

A gorgeous vintage Italian majolica cachepot with a beautifully detailed basket-inspired design.
The piece features a scalloped rim with raised shell-like details, hand-painted with vibrant orange flowers, yellow accents, and green leaves spilling from a sculptural green planter. The colorful floral decoration is set against a crisp white background, giving it that wonderful Italian decorative pottery look.
Signed “BP Italy” on the underside. BP Italy marks are found on vintage Italian majolica pieces associated with Meiselman Imports, with examples dating to the mid-to-late 20th century.
