Vintage George Jones Crescent China Footed Compote Bowl Rose Ribbon Garland

A beautiful vintage English porcelain footed compote by George Jones & Sons, produced at the Crescent Potteries in Staffordshire, England.
This lovely piece features a delicate Rose Ribbon Garland pattern, with scattered pink rose sprigs decorating the shallow bowl and a graceful green laurel garland encircling the pedestal. The scalloped rim and foot are finished with touches of hand-applied gold gilding, adding just the right amount of elegance.
The underside is marked Crescent China, England, along with the decorator pattern number 2116.
A pretty piece for displaying fruit, flowers, or simply styling on a tabletop, dresser, or bookshelf. It would also make a lovely addition to a collection of English porcelain.
