Vintage Japanese Blue and White Takarabune Porcelain Charger 12¼”

A beautiful vintage Japanese blue and white porcelain charger featuring a traditional Takarabune, or “Treasure Ship,” design with a pine tree, cranes, and turtle.
The Takarabune is a traditional symbol of good fortune and prosperity, while the pine, cranes, and turtle are associated with longevity and happiness.
At 12¼”, this is a wonderful size for making a statement on its own or incorporating into a collected plate wall alongside other blue and white pieces. It would also make a lovely addition to a collection of Japanese porcelain, chinoiserie, or traditional blue and white.
The classic cobalt blue and white palette makes it especially easy to mix with different patterns and styles.
