Antique Nippon Porcelain Hand-Painted Scenic Duck Bonbon Dish with Gold Handle –

A beautiful antique Nippon porcelain handled dish featuring a serene hand-painted lake scene with a swimming duck, marsh reeds and a large tree in the background. The deep cobalt blue landscape is beautifully accented with delicate gold detailing and an elegant gilded loop handle.
The underside bears the desirable green M-in-wreath “Hand Painted NIPPON” backstamp, associated with Morimura Brothers and dating this piece to approximately 1911–1921. 
A charming piece for a Nippon or blue & white porcelain collection and lovely for serving small sweets, bonbons or other little treats.
Measures: 7.5” D
Condition: Excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or major damage. The painted scene remains vibrant, with light, age-appropriate wear to the gilt detailing consistent with its age. Please see photos for details.
