A charming vintage covered butter dish by The Sheffield Silver Co., with an elegant beaded rim, pretty starburst detail on the silverplate base, and a decorative finial on the domed lid.
The clear glass insert features a lovely swirled design and fits neatly inside the silverplate frame. Such a pretty little piece for serving butter at the table, but I could also see it being used to hold small treats or other petite treasures.
Marked E.P.C. 340 on the underside.
Measures approximately 3½” H × 5¾” W × 4½” D
Condition: Very good vintage condition with a bright polished finish and light surface wear consistent with age. Glass insert is included. No major dents, chips, or cracks noted. Please see photos for additional details.
